Description

A refreshing Strawberry Paloma Cocktail that blends the tartness of grapefruit juice with the sweetness of honey and fresh strawberries, balanced by smooth tequila and topped with bubbly ginger beer for a perfect summer drink.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cocktail:

  • 1 ½ cups grapefruit juice
  • ½ cup honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1 ½ cups sliced strawberries
  • Around 1 cup ginger beer or soda
  • 2 cups ice

Instructions

  1. Muddle Strawberries and Honey: In a shaker, muddle the sliced strawberries with the honey until the strawberries release their natural juices and the mixture is well combined.
  2. Add Tequila and Grapefruit Juice: Pour the tequila and grapefruit juice into the shaker with the muddled strawberries and honey, then shake vigorously to blend all the flavors.
  3. Prepare Glasses: Fill 4 glasses evenly with ice cubes to chill the cocktail.
  4. Pour and Top: Strain and pour the Paloma mixture into each glass, filling them about three-quarters full. Top off each glass with ginger beer or soda to add fizz and a refreshing finish.
  5. Serve: Serve immediately while cold and enjoy this vibrant, fruity twist on the classic Paloma.

Notes

  • You can adjust the honey amount based on your preferred sweetness level.
  • If you prefer a less sweet drink, substitute honey with simple syrup or reduce its quantity.
  • Ginger beer adds a spicy kick, but plain soda water can be used for a milder flavor.
  • For an extra garnish, add a slice of grapefruit or fresh strawberry on the rim of the glass.
  • Use freshly squeezed grapefruit juice for the best flavor impact.
