Assembly:
- 24 small crackers or cucumber slices
- 6 ounces smoked salmon, sliced into bite-sized pieces
- extra dill and capers for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped capers until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread or pipe a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture onto each cracker or cucumber slice.
- Top with a piece of smoked salmon. Garnish with additional dill and a caper if desired.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
