Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

Assembly:

  • 24 small crackers or cucumber slices
  • 6 ounces smoked salmon, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • extra dill and capers for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped capers until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Spread or pipe a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture onto each cracker or cucumber slice.
  3. Top with a piece of smoked salmon. Garnish with additional dill and a caper if desired.
