Description

Peach Pie Jello Shots are a delightful adult party treat combining fruity peach flavors with creamy Rum Chata and a fun layered gelatin texture. These shots feature a two-layered presentation with a peach-flavored base and a creamy top layer, garnished with diced peaches for a refreshing, bite-sized dessert that’s perfect for gatherings and celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale

Gelatin Base

  • 3 Envelopes Unflavored Gelatin
  • 2 cups Water

Peach Layer

  • 1/4 cup Torani Peach Syrup
  • 1/3 cup Peach Schnapps

Creamy Layer

  • 1/2 cup Rum Chata
  • 2 Tbsp Sweetened Condensed Milk

Garnish

  • Peaches in Heavy Syrup, diced, as needed for topping

Instructions

  1. Bloom the Gelatin: Pour 2 cups of water into a large measuring cup with a spout. Sprinkle 3 envelopes of unflavored gelatin evenly over the water and let it bloom for 15 minutes until the gelatin is fully dissolved and smooth.
  2. Prepare Creamy Layer: Stir 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk into the dissolved gelatin mixture. Then, divide this mixture evenly into two separate dishes. Add 1/2 cup Rum Chata to one dish, stirring thoroughly to combine, and set it aside.
  3. Prepare Peach Layer: To the other gelatin mixture, add 1/4 cup Torani Peach Syrup and 1/3 cup Peach Schnapps. Stir well until completely blended and smooth.
  4. Fill Peach Layer: Pour the peach-flavored gelatin mixture into shot glasses, filling each about halfway. Continue until all glasses are partially filled with the peach layer.
  5. Chill Peach Layer: Place the filled shot glasses in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow the peach layer to set and cool fully.
  6. Add Creamy Layer: Once the peach layer is set, remove the glasses from the refrigerator and gently fill them with the Rum Chata creamy gelatin mixture, topped over the peach layer.
  7. Chill Creamy Layer: Return the shot glasses to the refrigerator for an additional 30 minutes to allow the creamy layer to set properly.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Open the can of diced peaches in heavy syrup. Spoon a teaspoon of diced peaches atop each shot glass just before serving for a fresh, fruity finish. Keep the shots refrigerated until ready to serve. Enjoy responsibly!

Notes

  • Ensure the gelatin is completely dissolved to avoid grainy texture in the shots.
  • For a stronger alcohol flavor, increase the amount of Peach Schnapps or Rum Chata slightly.
  • Keep jello shots refrigerated until serving to maintain firmness.
  • Use fresh peaches as an alternative garnish for added texture and freshness.
  • These shots are perfect for parties and serve best cold.
