Description

Delicious and easy No-Bake Easter Peanut Butter Bars featuring a creamy peanut butter base topped with smooth white chocolate and festive pastel M&M’s. Perfect for spring celebrations and simple to prepare without any baking required.

Ingredients

Scale

Base

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping

  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • 1/2 cup pastel M&M’s or candy-coated chocolate eggs

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking and for easy removal later.
  2. Make the peanut butter base: In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter and softened butter. Mix until smooth and creamy. Stir in the vanilla extract to enhance flavor. Gradually add the powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs, mixing thoroughly until a thick dough forms.
  3. Press base into pan: Evenly press the peanut butter mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan, creating a firm and even layer.
  4. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  5. Assemble the bars: Pour the melted white chocolate over the peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly across the surface. Immediately sprinkle the pastel M&M’s or candy-coated chocolate eggs over the top, gently pressing them into the chocolate to secure.
  6. Chill and set: Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours to allow them to firm up completely.
  7. Serve: Once set, remove the bars from the pan using the parchment paper edges. Slice into 16 bars and serve.

Notes

  • You can substitute white chocolate with milk or dark chocolate according to your preference.
  • For added crunch, fold in chopped pretzels or rice cereal into the base mixture before pressing it into the pan.
  • Store the bars in the refrigerator for up to one week to maintain freshness.
