Instructions

  1. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add Flavorings: Mix in vanilla extract and salt until combined.
  3. Prepare Dough: In a separate bowl, whisk flour and ground freeze-dried strawberries. Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Chill and Shape: Divide dough, shape into discs, wrap, and chill. Roll out dough, cut into heart shapes, and bake.
  5. Assemble Cookies: Spread jam on bottom cookies and sandwich with top cookies. Optionally, drizzle with melted white chocolate and add sprinkles.
