Garlic Butter:

Cheese Topping:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the garlic butter: Mix softened butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread the garlic butter: Spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
  4. Add cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over both halves, then top with Parmesan.
  5. Bake: Place bread halves on a baking sheet, cheese side up, and bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Optional broil: Broil for 1–2 minutes to brown the top.
