Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugar: In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, salt, and baking soda.
  5. Combine wet and dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. Add dandelion petals: Gently fold in the dandelion petals.
  7. Bake: Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
