Description

Creamy Bruschetta Dip is a delicious and flavorful appetizer that combines the richness of cream cheese with the freshness of cherry tomatoes, basil, and balsamic glaze. Baked to perfection, this dip is perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

Creamy Cheese Base:

  • 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Tomato Topping:

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Crostini or crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the creamy cheese base: In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, mozzarella, and Parmesan until smooth. Spread the mixture into a small baking dish.
  3. Prepare the tomato topping: In another bowl, mix the diced tomatoes, red onion, basil, salt, and pepper. Spoon the tomato mixture over the creamy cheese base. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  4. Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve: Serve warm with crostini or crackers.

Notes

  • You can make the creamy base ahead of time and refrigerate it, adding the tomato topping just before baking.
  • For added flavor, consider roasting the cherry tomatoes before adding them to the dip.
