Description

These Ingredient Fudge Pops are a delicious, dairy-free frozen treat made with instant chocolate pudding, sugar, and unsweetened almond-coconut milk. Easy to prepare and freeze, they offer a creamy and chocolatey indulgence perfect for hot days or a fun dessert. The recipe requires minimal prep time and no cooking, making it a quick and convenient way to enjoy a sweet snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding (6 oz)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups Unsweetened Almond Breeze Almondmilk Coconutmilk (cold)

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl or stand mixer, beat together the instant chocolate pudding mix, sugar, and cold unsweetened almond-coconut milk for about 2 minutes. Be sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl to fully incorporate all ingredients. The mixture will thicken slightly but won’t reach the consistency of regular pudding.
  2. Pour into Molds: Transfer the pudding mixture into pop molds, filling them evenly to prepare for freezing.
  3. Initial Freeze: Place the filled molds in the freezer for about 1 hour to begin setting the pops.
  4. Insert Sticks: After the initial freeze, push wooden sticks into the pops if your molds don’t come with sticks included.
  5. Final Freeze: Freeze the pops for an additional 6 to 8 hours or until they are completely firm and frozen solid.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Remove the fudge pops from the molds and enjoy, ideally while sitting outside on a porch swing for the ultimate relaxing experience.

Notes

  • Use cold almond-coconut milk to ensure the pudding mix thickens properly.
  • If you don’t have pop molds, small paper cups or ice cube trays can substitute.
  • Freezing times may vary slightly depending on your freezer’s temperature.
  • For a richer texture, you can add a tablespoon of cocoa powder when mixing the ingredients.
  • These fudge pops are dairy-free and suitable for those avoiding lactose.
