Description

Bundt Pan Nachos are a fun and visually impressive twist on classic nachos, layered with seasoned ground beef, melted cheeses, black beans, and topped with fresh avocado, sour cream, jalapeños, olives, and cilantro. Baked to bubbly perfection in a Bundt pan, this recipe makes for a delicious and shareable party appetizer or game day snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Nacho Base

  • 1 bag (12 oz) tortilla chips

Cheese Layer

  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Meat and Seasoning

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water

Additional Layers

  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup salsa

Toppings

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the nachos.
  2. Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain the excess fat to reduce greasiness.
  3. Season Beef: Add the taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water to the beef, stirring well until the meat is coated and the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
  4. Prepare Bundt Pan: Grease a Bundt pan thoroughly with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  5. Layer Chips: Line the bottom and sides of the Bundt pan with a layer of tortilla chips, ensuring full coverage.
  6. Add Cheese: Sprinkle half of the shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses evenly over the chips.
  7. Add Beef: Spread half of the cooked and seasoned ground beef over the cheese layer.
  8. Add Beans and Salsa: Layer black beans and some salsa over the ground beef evenly.
  9. Repeat Layers: Add another layer of tortilla chips, then the remaining cheese, beef, black beans, and salsa to build the stack.
  10. Top with Cheese: Finish with the remaining cheese on top to ensure a bubbly, melted crust.
  11. Bake: Place the Bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Cool Slightly: Remove the nachos from the oven carefully and let them cool slightly in the pan to set up.
  13. Invert Nachos: Place a serving platter over the Bundt pan and invert to release the nacho stack onto the plate gently.
  14. Add Toppings: Garnish the nachos with dollops of sour cream, sliced jalapeños, black olives, chopped cilantro, and diced avocado.
  15. Serve: Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for squeezing to add fresh zest.

Notes

  • Make sure to layer the tortilla chips to cover the Bundt pan well to hold all the fillings securely.
  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner protein option.
  • For extra spice, add hot sauce or extra jalapeños in layers or as a topping.
  • Leftover nachos can be refrigerated and gently reheated in the oven to retain texture and flavor.
  • Try adding other toppings like diced tomatoes, green onions, or guacamole to customize your nachos.
