Ingredients
Scale
Filling
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Wraps
- 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce mixture: In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and buffalo wing sauce until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Add the chicken and cheese: Stir in the shredded cooked chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions into the buffalo sauce mixture. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences.
- Lay out tortillas: Place the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface or cutting board, making sure they are evenly spaced and ready for filling.
- Spread the filling: Divide the chicken mixture evenly among the tortillas. Spread it out evenly over each one, leaving about a 1-inch border around the edges to help with rolling.
- Roll and chill: Tightly roll up each tortilla to form a log. Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap to keep them secure, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow them to firm up and hold their shape.
- Slice and serve: Remove the roll-ups from the fridge, unwrap the plastic wrap, and slice each roll into 1-inch pieces. Serve these roll-ups chilled or at room temperature as a flavorful appetizer or snack.
Notes
- For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the filling mixture.
- Use whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas for a healthier or gluten-sensitive option.
- These roll-ups can be prepared up to a day in advance and stored covered in the refrigerator.
- Optional: Garnish with additional chopped green onions or a drizzle of ranch dressing when serving.
