Ingredients
Scale
For the Blueberry Swirl:
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened and xylitol-free)
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Cook the Blueberries: Add the blueberries and water to a small saucepan over low heat. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the berries break down into a syrup-like consistency. Mash them further if desired. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a blender or food processor, blend the Greek yogurt and honey until smooth.
- Fill the Molds: Spoon small amounts of the blueberry mixture into silicone paw-shaped molds. Top with the yogurt mixture. Swirl the layers together for a marbled effect using a toothpick.
- Freeze: Tap the mold to remove air bubbles. Freeze for at least 3 hours until solid.
- Serve: Pop out the treats from the molds and store in the freezer in an airtight container.
Notes
- Use silicone molds for easy removal.
- Ensure dog-safe yogurt with no added sweeteners like xylitol.
- These frozen treats are best served as an occasional summer snack for your pup.
