Description

Delight in these no-bake Berries and Cream Cereal Bars featuring crunchy Strawberry Berry Cheerios mixed with melted marshmallows and freeze-dried fruits, finished with a drizzle of melted white chocolate and a fresh strawberry topping. Perfect for a sweet snack or party treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • 5 cups Strawberry Berry Cheerios
  • 1 package freeze-dried strawberries and bananas

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter (4 tablespoons)
  • 1 bag marshmallows (10 ounces)
  • White chocolate, melted (quantity as needed for dipping and drizzling)

Other

  • Butter for greasing the pan
  • Fresh strawberries (for topping, one per bar)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan and Melt Ingredients: Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish generously with butter and set it aside. In a large roasting pan over medium heat, melt half a stick of butter. Add the entire bag of marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
  2. Mix in Cereal and Fruits: Remove the pan from heat, add 5 cups of Strawberry Berry Cheerios, and stir well, ensuring the cereal is fully coated with the marshmallow mixture. Add the package of freeze-dried strawberries and bananas, stirring gently to distribute evenly throughout the mixture.
  3. Set the Bars: Transfer the cereal mixture into the prepared 9×13 dish. Use a large spoon or spatula to spread it out evenly and press down firmly. Place the dish in the refrigerator for about one hour to allow the bars to cool and set completely.
  4. Cut and Decorate: Once set, remove the dish from the refrigerator. Cut the cereal mixture into bars approximately 2 inches by 3 inches in size. Melt white chocolate in the microwave until smooth.
  5. Dip and Garnish: Dip the bottoms of each bar into the melted white chocolate, then drizzle a little white chocolate on top. Place a fresh strawberry in the center of each bar on the chocolate. Lay the bars on parchment paper and allow the white chocolate to harden in the refrigerator or at room temperature for about one hour.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Once the white chocolate has set, serve the Berries and Cream Cereal Bars fresh for a delicious and fun treat.

Notes

  • Use fresh strawberries for garnish to add a fresh burst of flavor and color.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the pan to help the bars hold together well.
  • You can substitute freeze-dried fruits with chopped fresh or dried fruits if desired.
  • Store leftover bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To melt white chocolate smoothly, heat in short bursts in the microwave and stir frequently to avoid burning.
